About Us

Syntax is a non-profit, student led publication based in International Islamic University Malaysia which seeks to be a voice for contemporary economics and current issues. Syntax stands in the belief that economics is not just confined to theories taught in textbook and classes, but rather preaches for young minds to engage in discourse and discussions on theories and policies evolving in the world today, thus putting those ideas into writings. Syntax hopes to one day to be a leading student led publication in Malaysia. Syntax was founded in 2016 by an Economics Undergraduate, Naufal Nasrullah.
